GUEST: Wendi Zwaduk

He’s her kinkiest desire, if she’s willing to open her heart and believe in him...

With that intriguing beginning, please welcome the author, Wendi Zwaduk... We'll begin with a brief interview, then have a look at Wendi's exciting new release!

How long have you been writing?

Seven years with the goal of publication. I’ve been published for almost a year now, but ever since I was a kid, I’ve had stories in my head and wanted to share with others.

How long have you been a published author?

It’ll be a year in April.

What titles do you have available?

From Total-E-Bound:
Learning How to Bend
Must Be Doing Something Right
My Immortal
You’ll Think of Me
Tangled Up
Careless Whisper

From the Wild Rose Press
Right Where I Need to Be

Do you have any new titles coming soon?

I’ve got some subs in the works, but as of right now....well, we’ll see.

What is your favourite genre and why?

I love them all, but I’d have to say MF contemporary with racing undertones. I love racing and NASCAR, so any way to work it into the book, especially when it’s completely organic. I love adding little snippets of the race world and even better when I’ve been able to go research racing beforehand. Give me a little dirt racing and I’m a happy girl.

What, to you, is the most exciting part of the writing process?

The most exciting part of writing for me is finding out the little nuances of the characters. For example, in My Immortal I had no idea Storm, the hero, was a vampire. I had him pegged as a plain old private investigator. Same thing happened with Ryan in Careless Whisper. I was watching yet another ghost hunting type show in marathon form and he says, ‘hey, that’s what I do’. Oh...well, doesn’t that change things. It did, but it actually made the story richer because it wasn’t just boy chases girl, it was boy chases girl and both are chasing ghosts, but really, she wants nothing to do with boy.

It’s exciting because they give me curveballs I don’t expect and make me work for the story to come out in a somewhat linear fashion. Those little changes and nuances are a lot of fun.

If you could co-author a book with anyone, who would you choose and why?

I’d love to write with my BF’s Kealie Shay and Megan Slayer. I think we could come up with fantastic paranormal stories. We have some in the works, so we’ll see.

Where can readers find you on the web?

Thanks so much for being my guest, Wendi - and now let's have a look at your newest release!

The dead don’t always rest in peace. Some stick around to make the lives of the living hell on Earth. Ryan Black knows the frustration of dealing with the dead. He’s a Ghost Explorer. He’s conquered houses filled with apparitions, abandoned school buildings that house angry vermin, and managed to woo the female population of Snake Falls, Ohio. But he’s about to face his toughest challenge, convincing sceptical Samara Jacobs she not only shares his gift, but holds his heart.

Women fall at Ryan Black’s feet and Samara’s determined not to be one of the many—that is until she’s forced to work with him. He’s certain ghosts exist and willing to prove it. The more she gets to know the man behind the television persona, she decides the handsome klutz who chases things that go bump in the night isn’t so silly after all. But is he worthy of her love?

  5. Refreshing One - Writing Careless Whisper was a blast. I'm still too scaredy cat to go to the prison, but DH is going again. Lots of inspiration there. :-)
